Mary Engelbreit 2019 Monthly/Weekly Planner Calendar Download

ISBN: 1449489710
Title: Mary Engelbreit 2019 Monthly/Weekly Planner Calendar Pdf Life is a Balancing Act

Mary Engelbreit's aphorisms and artwork appear on millions of greeting cards and gift products. Her popularity continues to grow through the success of her books, calendars, home decor, stationery, and crafting lines. Her company is based in St. Louis, Missouri.

In her new calendar, Life is a Balancing Act 2019 Monthly/Weekly Planner Calendar, best-selling author and illustrator Mary Engelbreit shows us through her artwork that life is all about balance and achieving it takes passion, strength, and determination.

Filled with her signature artwork accompanied by inspirational quotes, this colorful, spiral-bound calendar features monthly grids as well as weekly planning pages to keep track of events, appointments, and meetings, and there’s space at the back for 2020 planning to jot down birthdays, anniversaries, children’s friends, names and numbers, and notes.

Worst. Paper. Ever The calendar itself is so cute and I love the way it is organized. However, when I ordered it, I had read the reviews wrong. I thought they had switched from the "glossy" paper to actual paper. It's the other way around. The paper is a slight glossy material, so when I write in ballpoint pen, it smears. I won't even attempt using gel. Some pens don't even write at all. I'm so, so, so disappointed. I thought I had finally found the perfect planner. I was wrong.Absolutely Perfect This planner was everything i hoped for! The layout is fantastic, just enough space for each day. The paper is shiny and smooth, binding is very sturdy. My mom used to fill the house with Mary Engelbreit when I was a little girl, and now as a woman I still love all of her designs. Can't wait for January so I can start using this planner!Beautiful planner! I absolutely LOVE this planner! I haven't ever really used a planner before. I think this is the start of something new for me, and I plan on getting a ME planner (and wall calendar and day-to-day calendar) every year. The artwork is just gorgeous. There were a few surprises near the end of the planner that I didn't expect (this may be typical of all planners, but as I said..planners are new to me)...such as Babysitters, Children's Friends (I won't need these, but it's a nice addition for those who do), Names & Numbers, and Notes. I'm excited to start 2019 off with this planner and recommend it (who knows...maybe I'll be more organized in 2019!).

Useful Reference Book Most baby books on the market are just repackaged versions of the AAP recommendations anyway, so I decided to go straight to the source. Yes most of the information is stuff you could get on the internet for free, but that is true of all baby guides nowadays. The benefit of buying the book (besides not being subjected to those annoying "mom advice forums" that clog most baby websites) is that it gives a quick and concise explanation of any issue I am encountering with my baby or toddler. I use it as a quick reference guide-baby has a fever? Lets see what the book says to do. It saves me a ton of time vs. wading through a dozen internet results to find something written by an actual doctor. This guide does not try to be your sassy best friend or wise grandmother, it is a straightforward how-to guide for common issues parent will face with a typical baby.Good AAP handy guide for parents and grandparents or any ... Good AAP handy guide for parents, grandparents, or any child caregiver. Yes, information is on the web, but I still like it on the printed page. I am a RN and worked over 25 years in Labor/Delivery. This was the best “gift” given to new parents in my opinion. This is what many pediatricians subscribe to—the American Academy of Pediatrics—sound medical advice and standards of care. Each generation is raised with certain safety standards/care guidelines. We, as a team, learn more and more safer/better strategies for raising infants and children—it is handy to find quick information and when to seek further help.I would definitely recommend reading this book Unfortunately, babies come to this world without a manual, and every parent has to research on his own how to raise a child. So if you are looking for a high-quality parenting guide, I would definitely recommend reading this book.First of all, this guide is a great source of practical information for both new and experienced parents. You can find:- Recommendations about basic baby care, such as preparing an initial set of clothes, bathing, feeding. This information is especially useful for first-time parents as it helps to deal with everyday challenges.- Information about major developmental skills and milestones. You can find advice on how to choose activities and toys, provide a stimulating environment, encourage desired behavior.- Detailed safety instructions for different stages and places, including home, playground, car, etc.- Information about baby health for different age periods: common health concerns, growth charts, immunization schedule, descriptions of common diseases.Besides a wide number of topics, there is another important thing that makes this book different: this guide is a scientific community work based on recent research and statistical data. Why do I think it’s important?Today there are plenty of ways to find an answer to any question. Friends, parents, social network users, pediatricians - they all have their experience and opinion, and many of them would be happy to share their knowledge with you. But these sources of advice have potential disadvantages.Firstly, some arguments may be outdated. For example, there is evidence that bilingual babies often start talking slightly later than their monolingual peers. For this reason, there was a practice to argue against providing a bilingual environment. But, since that time, researchers found that bilingualism boosts children in many different ways, including creativity, memory, and cognitive abilities.Furthermore, advice is often based on personal experience. But a parent can make a mistake when trying to evaluate a cause-effect relationship between events. Researchers use different strategies to reveal and assert causal connections: conduct randomized experiments, implement variety of non-experimental studies, etc. So it’s worthwhile to ensure that advice is supported by research findings. Finally, the opinion of a particular person can be biased. Participation of different contributors and reviewers reduces the chance of a strong personal influence. So it’s better to check whether a chosen source of information is a product of community work.Babies bring endless happiness to our lives. But they also make us worry about their well-being. This book offers all-around and scientifically proven recommendations so that you can be more confident about your everyday parenting decisions.

Competition Math for Middle School Free Pdf

ISBN: 1441488871
Title: Competition Math for Middle School Pdf
Author: J. Batterson
Published Date: 2009
Page: 371

Jason Batterson is a curriculum developer at Art of Problem Solving (www.artofproblemsolving.com). From 2008-2010, Batterson taught math and ran the competition program at Ligon Middle School in Raleigh, NC. The school won state MATHCOUNTS championships in 2008, 2009 and 2010 and has consistently been the top middle school in the state for both the AMC8 and AMC10 competitions. In 2008 he was a recipient of the Edyth May Sliffe Award from the Mathematical Association of America for distinguished teaching in mathematics.

Written for the gifted math student, the new math coach, the teacher in search of problems and materials to challenge exceptional students, or anyone else interested in advanced mathematical problems. Competition Math contains over 700 examples and problems in the areas of Algebra, Counting, Probability, Number Theory, and Geometry.Examples and full solutions present clear concepts and provide helpful tips and tricks."I wish I had a book like this when I started my competition career."Four-Time National Champion MATHCOUNTS coach Jeff Boyd"This book is full of juicy questions and ideas that will enable the reader to excel in MATHCOUNTS and AMC competitions. I recommend it to any students who aspire to be great problem solvers." Former AHSME Committee Chairman Harold Reiter

very useful for Mathcount preparation I got this book for my 6th grade daughter after she qualified for the chapter math-counts competition. We worked on the problems 4-5 days per week for 20-30 min. She improved considerably and finished 7th in the chapter part. Despite being the youngest, she finished first of her team, 24th in the state. For the state completion, we also used Mathcounts Chapter Competition Practice Mathcounts Chapter Competition Practice. I highly recommend this book for practice training. One advantage is that it reflects the questions asked at the State level. We did daily mixed questions (algebra, geometry, probability etc), which reflects the competition.Highly Recommend The book has a lot of excellent math problems to challenge many math students and still learn a lot.Excellent math competition book I definitely recommend this book to middle-schoolers aiming for scoring high in competitive math exams. I was able to prep my son (who was very good in grade school, but not accustomed to high standards of competition math) and he is doing phenomenally well now. I used Batterson's book to gradually introduce tough problems in number theory, alegbra , probability etc, and when this book is studied with the art-of-problem-solving (+ vol1, vol2) and Israel Gelfland's alegebra + trignometry + Kieslev's geometry, you have a kid who can really excel in math. My son is an all-rounder (sports and leadership wise) and growing up in NJ we are surrounded with some amazing talent, but now I got him excel in competition math too. This book's section on counting and probability is unbelievably good especially the way he tackles the weird counting questions with "stickes and stones".. well done!

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone Free Pdf

ISBN: B0192CTMYG
Title: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone Pdf

"Turning the envelope over, his hand trembling, Harry saw a purple wax seal bearing a coat of arms; a lion, an eagle, a badger and a snake surrounding a large letter 'H'."

Harry Potter has never even heard of Hogwarts when the letters start dropping on the doormat at number four, Privet Drive. Addressed in green ink on yellowish parchment with a purple seal, they are swiftly confiscated by his grisly aunt and uncle. Then, on Harry's eleventh birthday, a great beetle-eyed giant of a man called Rubeus Hagrid bursts in with some astonishing news: Harry Potter is a wizard, and he has a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. An incredible adventure is about to begin!

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is also available as an Illustrated Kindle-in-Motion edition.

Utterly amazing artwork!! My husband tried to surprise me with this order, but we share the amazon account ;)I WAS surprised though, because I didn’t realize it would be textbook size with all these amazing scenes drawn out. They’re AH-MAY-ZING drawings!! If you love Harry Potter, you will love these books. For some reason, hubs couldn’t find the first and second of the series (I did ;p) so he bought the third first, but we know the stories by heart so it doesn’t matter to me. I hope they put out all of them! It almost feels like how I felt waiting for the actual series to come out.Unbelievable quality for the price! SPECIAL NOTE: For U.S. customers purchasing the illustrated edition of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, you will notice the text has NOT been converted to the "Americanized" version of the original U.S. releases (with the exception of changing all "Philosopher's Stone" mentions to "Sorcerer's Stone"). So far, I have noticed the following: (EU/US) dialling / dialing; Shan't! / Won't!; sherbet lemon / lemon drop; motorbike / motorcycle; and dustbin / trashcan. For many purists of the series who never liked the idea of modifying the original text for an American audience, this is a good thing. Good or bad is naturally for each reader to decide--just know, if you plan to read the books while listening to Jim Dale's audiobooks, you'll notice a few superficial differences. The quality of this new illustrated edition is phenomenal. I've been excited about the release of this book since it was announced, but I never expected the book as a whole to be so well crafted.A couple of things to note:1. Underneath the book jacket, the novel is bound in a sturdy red hardback with gold lettering on the spine.2. The paper is thick with an eggshell glossy finish.3. All chapter intros are illustrated.4. Some images take up full pages or multiple pages. Most illustrations share the page with text.5. Every inch of the book is illustrated or decorated in some fashion. There are NO white pages in the book. Even the pages without large illustrations have the paper printed and marked with ink blots or paper "stains".I would highly recommend this for anyone looking to read the series (again, or for the first time), especially if you plan to read this with someone younger. If this book is a demonstration of what is to come with the illustrated editions for the rest of the series, we're all in for six more impeccable treats.Missing Pages as some were Double Printed I LOVE THE STORY. Illustrations are great. PROBLEM is that the book came missing pages 153-168 because 137-152 were printed twice. It took me a week to realize this. You will want to check your books. I'm sure Amazon will take care of me but thank goodness I wasn't gifting this.
